Nicky Hayden who always praised Rossi

Sport - All MotoGP players, including fans, are still mourning the death of one of the charismatic riders, Nicky Hayden. He breathed his last breath after five days of intensive care at Bufallini Hospital, Cesena, after a bicycle accident.

Hayden who was underestimated, a success champion in his fourth year career in MotoGP. Although the champion he still praised the greatness of Rossi at that time.

The late rider who died at 35 years old ever said the only MotoGP title he won in 2006 was very special.

"Of course, I mean in a great way (very special) .I have thousands of respect for Valentino Rossi because as we know, he is the best rider of all time," Hayden said during an exclusive interview with MotoGP official website in 2016.

"He (Rossi) is the only one, in my opinion, who has done well in our era for MotoGP and is raising that level now."

Hayden then ruined Rossi's ambition of trying to set a MotoGP champion record six times in a row.

"Being a rider who was able to beat him that year is not easy, I have a few chances that things go well, and defeating him is definitely very special."

Nicky Hayden is not the best rider in MotoGP because throughout keriernya only managed to reach three times the first podium. Nevertheless, he is also remembered as a rider who once defeated the king of MotoGP, Valentino Rossi. (CNN)
